Another Year Of Resolutions?

Do you often wonder if you need a push to add spark in your life? Things are great around you, but are you happy in your life?

Well, the resolutions I set out every year are to achieve half the things I am not; some things that will bring momentary happiness and some that I definitely need. But as the days pass, I set more resolutions and the cycle continues. Sounds sad? Think again! Isn’t life about trying, doing your best, failing, rising and making mistakes?

Life is about taking chances, missing out and starting all over. It’s just that in the process you need to be happy.

With the resolutions that we make, we often set out bigger goals— and while some achieve them, others simply fail. But it’s okay. Really! Life is about taking chances, missing out and starting all over. It’s just that in the process you need to be happy. At times, the thought of doing something, the excitement is a lot more compared to when you have achieved it. So isn’t it better not to run so fast that you miss out on all the fun the journey has?

If a day or two or more have gone by sitting idle, don’t take stress. However, the minute you do realize this, just get up and don’t sit back anytime soon.

Enjoy your present guys, as cliched as it may sound! Set goals, work towards them but don’t worry if it doesn’t work out— enjoy working towards them and you will feel good. We often heighten the sense of achievement for ourselves and build up expectations. Look around, there is so much to do and you can’t do it all. If a day or two or more have gone by sitting idle, don’t take stress! However, the minute you do realize it, just get up and don’t sit back anytime soon. Life offers many chances and it’s upon you how you make the most of it. If you succeed, great! If you don’t, something will come up and you must work at it with equal enthusiasm or more.

So here’s to new starts. Adding freshness to each day. Learning from failure and rising with a fresh vibe, a better version of you. Learn from your mistakes, make new ones and continue learning. Don’t be too harsh on yourself; don’t take yourself so damn seriously. Breathe, imagine, dream, create and be happy!
