Bullying is no longer limited to schools and colleges alone. It’s growing in places of work, online, one’s social circle, between friends and even in families. Bullying anyone or being bullied cannot be accepted, for it has lasting effects if not dealt with.
Each one of us has a different reaction to the actions and words of a bully, but at the end of the day, it is important to stop the bully. Here are ways that may be helpful to different people at different point in life. The idea is to not only discourage bullying but to come together and help those who are being bullied.
I felt this on a personal level, I got bullied really badly all my life, im now 19 nearly 20 and i sometimes still get abuse online and on the street. Thanks for sharing this x

As a survivor of bullying, I totally agree with this! I was bullied from 6th grade until I changed schools during my senior year. It got so bad that I attempted suicide at age 14 (eighth grade) and almost didn’t make it. But I was lucky. I’m now use what I went through to help people who are bullied today.
I especially like “Use it to your advantage” because there’s something about turning a negative into a positive that really puts a smile on my face.
Thank you so much for posting! 🙂

You all are very brave to share your stories here and I am grateful because the idea is to open up and be there for each other. Bullying is unacceptable. And we must be there for those who are being bullied.

I was bullied horrendously for three years, from age 10-13. It only stopped when I moved out of that town. It did inspire me to write a book about it though. Still, no one should have to go through bullying hell.
